Thank you for visiting our site. We at Iccara - Sophie, Hazel, Sue & Larry, have been breeding for over 30 years, since the lifting of
the ban in WA, when we were amongst the first enthusiasts to import
a GSD puppy.
We were active in both show and obedience,
with Hazel being an obedience judge and veterinary nurse. We now
devote ourselves to showing and breeding, allowing our puppies to
reach their obedience potential with their new owners.
We commenced breeding
with a primary ideal to breed very sound puppies. As a testament
to our achievements in this area we have been awarded the GSDCA
Bronze, Silver and Gold Medal for "A" stamps (hip passes).
We have also been honoured to win the
Breeders Trophy in WA for a record 15 years along with the
National Breeders Group Award in
Adelaide
and
Brisbane
.
Sophie has been very successful being
awarded WA's and also National Top Junior Handler. She follows
proudly in the footsteps of her older sister, Beth.
She is now the driving force managing the kennels and is extremely enthusiastic and keen to continue in our efforts to continually improve and offer the high standard we have always prided ourselves on, babies with lovely outgoing confident natures and sound structure.
The parents of all our puppies are
Breed Surveyed and have their hip and elbow passes. All our
litters are bred to all relevant Australian Codes of Ethics. We
sell all of our puppies with papers, vaccinated and microchipped. They
leave us at 8 wks but we sometimes have older puppies/dogs
available.
